SMART MARINE services Pty Ltd is an Australian based company, located in Hemmant, Brisbane on the east coast of Australia.

The managing director, Bruce Martin has been actively involved in the industry since 1990.  Since the company’s formation in February 2005, SMART MARINE services (SMS) has seen significant growth.

In January 2007, Jeff Paul joined the SMS team as a Production Manager. Jeff began in the industry in 1989, and manages the day to day operation of the workshop as well as project management for our clients.

Bruce and Jeff have an established relationship and have worked together prior to the conception of SMART MARINE services, gaining industry knowledge which has since seen SMART MARINE services go from strength to strength. Both have worked in many facets of the marine industry, with reputable respected boat building companies and have confidence in providing quality custom fit outs and tailored repairs to suit our clients varying needs.

SMART MARINE services has an experienced crew, each with their own attributes that complete our professional team. SMS has a fully equipped 370m2 workshop, located in the 600 tonne precinct of Brisbane Marine Industry Park. We are conveniently situated 10 minutes from the Port of Brisbane, 20 minutes from Brisbane CBD and 15 minutes from the Brisbane Domestic and International airports.

We have access to over 300ft of dockage and can arrange 65, 300 and 600 tonne travel lifts, berthing suitable for large vessels up to 60 metres, 20,000 square metres of hardstand area and 2 x 60m x 20m refit sheds.
